Jim is a clinician with 35 years of professional experience in public safety. During his career, he co-founded the Tri‑State Peer Support Team in Ohio. He earned his degree from Xavier University.
Jim provides therapy using a person‑centered, trauma‑informed framework. His clinical areas of focus include PTSD, occupational burnout, cumulative and critical incident stress, anxiety, depression, addiction, and adjustment‑related concerns. He assists clients in identifying and strengthening coping strategies, support systems, self‑worth, and adaptive functioning. Jim works collaboratively with individuals to promote emotional regulation, cognitive and behavioral change, and overall improvement in mental health and quality of life. He has a particular interest in working with first responders and their families, supporting recovery and positive post‑traumatic growth (PTG).
